Good point, you know. I've just got used to check my stats 3 times per day, maybe that's why it appeared to me that 1 time a day update is harsh.

I think you can be banned by LLs for using robots.txt to disallow SE to crawl freesites. Link list are giving recips not only for direct clicks on your warning page, but also to have inbound links....
