I'm not a perfectionist, but I agonize over my free sites. I read and re-read the sales text, telling myself how much I suck and that even the newbiest of AOL surfers are never going to buy that. Then I hate the colors. Then I wonder what the hell made me pick that content to market that sponsor. Then I just say fuck it and submit the damned thing.
I'm always amazed when I hear people complain about the one submit per day rule. I'd never be able to build more than one free site and still have time for my other failing projects.
