No, I wouldn't call it spam as he didn't start the thread and HE was the subject. But I accept it is spam if it meets your definition by this board's standards. Whatever we call it I do agree it looks like a very weird response to AcidMax's post
I've since found out that Rocco thought that was a professional response.. rather than trash someone trashing him, Rocco thought it would be better to simply show others what he had to offer... he does now understand why his post looks crazy to you and I... but there was never any intent to push his product as the point of that post. Rocco has had such a different cultural upbringing to most of us here he had no idea at that time why his reply post was being ridiculed.
Anyway Jim... I didn't come here to defend Rocco, simply to try and cut this dumbass thread off asap... maybe I am an egomaniac.. but I really did expect me asking people to cut him some slack, with that explanation, might have been enough to see it die again.
Dave's ICQ works, if he really felt Rocco was such a terrible problem, surely a personal message would have been any reasonable persons first choice. Until the sexy new sig he has now, anyone would think Dave owned purpledollars.. a day or two before his obnoxious effort here I told all my people that any of their affiliate webmasters submitting a freesite hosted on the purpledollars domain get auto-approved and sorted higher in the listings than regular sites... and personally I do expect something back in return for doing that, NOT to be stabbed in the back by people owning/working for/representing the company.
And before you try and tell me "I dont see anything wrong with Dave's post"...... I woke up to one of my guys asking why the guy from purpledollars has banned us and anyone linking to us, and a couple of other people pointing out what an asshole DangerDave is... so it was obvious to a few people.. and the ridiculous number of views this thread got BEFORE I came back and posted again is pretty good evidence people could see an accident waiting to happen and wanted front row seats ;- ))
Just FYI... I messaged Dave and suggested he try and fix this thread before I posted...... and left it 24 hours... and if by some stretch of the imagination you are not aware of what is really happening here.. please talk to your partner.
Dave, I know you don't give a shit about anyone past the end of your nose... but even if you are too cowardly to come back and justify why you said Rocco was so unethical "I would never swap links with this person.... NOR with anyone that swaps links with him"........ you could try something like, "I'm Sorry Brad" , on a pretty card with some flowers
But you should come back and explain how Rocco spammed you... promise I wont change the subject and tell anyone what a hypocritical bitch you are if you do.
You did decide to make this about who's opinion on Rocco's ethics was more worthy. The only other option I see now that Jim and Greenie look like they want to line up behind you, is answering your own questions.. ABOUT YOU. And NO ONE wants that.. (that's a lie... lots of people do... but a few people I actually care about don't. Do you care about them too Dave?)
