What we were referring to is that there are some keywords that no matter what you do, you can not get in the top 20 for those words in the English language Google results because Google does filter them. If you need proof - sex is a really good example. You will find that doing a search for sex in the English language will all be PG rated results - if you change the language in the url of the results to something like hl-es (spanish) you will see the real results.
For AdWords they have a different set of rules where certain words (cum, cock etc.) cannot be used as words in the advertisement without special prior approval and its very difficult to get.
