I used to know a male sailor, true story, that had a large collection of Barbie dolls that he always traveled with. He had cut their hands off and replaced them with alligator clips and he also made hooker outfits for them. He would refer to them as his mistresses and clip them all over his body while wearing pantyhose as he had someone beat him with socks wrapped up in a stocking.
