Pot never did a damned thing for me except make me paranoid for a couple of hours before I fell dead asleep. I've known people who actually were more creative and focused while high, and a lot more people who
thought they were, but really weren't terribly. (*cough* ex-husband *cough*) So, but anyway - this sounds cliche, but chamomile tea really is amazing for helping you chill out if you're feeling stressed. You might also want to look into ginseng with royal jelly - you can get it in nifty little ampoules at pretty much any health food store. It gives a mild buzz and seems to provide a unique kind of mental clarity. Hmm, I need to get myself some, now that I think of it.
