Apple came out with new Powerbooks today.
Nothing too exciting other then a bit faster and a bit lower prices but the 17" does now support the 30" external monitor and comes with a 100 gig drive.

I may move up to this model in the next few months from my older 17" Powerbook since one of my programs needs the better video that is in the newer model.
