The trick to watching baseball, is to have something else to do while it's on, and just listen for the crack of the bat.
The thing you have to remember about the season is, it was this long before free agency and high salaries. Purists will say that there are too many teams making the playoffs already. The point of the long season was shake out the pretenders and then the two best teams played in the world series.
I generally only watch the Indians games
