RA: There are plans to do that..in fact the Bellagio really has nothing for Families. Likewise the Venetian and the Palms have limited family oriented activities. With 8600 more rooms coming on this year, including the new Wynn property, I'm sure there is some marketing plan to re-gear for the adult playground.
For all its boasting about progressive thought process, vegas remains a "who you know" kind of place:
About 5 months ago one of the classiest strip clubs had to close because the owners (interlopers from Texas) arrogantly stated that no solicitation would ever go on at their club and they would stake their liquor license on it. Well amazingly enough a dancer, about a week before the hearing for their permanent license was to be granted, was arrested for solicitation. License denied, club closed, and now standing empty. Millions of dollars wasted because they thought the system was improved.
Lowry..if i had a choice of Vegas and anywhere else, i'd take most anywhere else.. except maybe Texas.
