Yeah - Fat tuesday in coming up - and just found out a hotel a block from Canal and St Charles St. had a good room - so Ive gotta go tomorrow

Of course I doubt if we'll be able to hear it since they just announced Gene Simmons is going to be the guest star in the Endymion parade as well as Marisa Tomei, Hootie & the Blowfish and the Pointer Sisters.
And wouldnt ya know it - for the Baccus parade they're having Sean Astin and Elijah Wood (for those not familiar with them - thats Frodo and Sam from LOTR)
Toby Keith will be the Orpheus leader and most importantly - Playboy Playmate of February 2004 Amber Campisi will help entertain the crowds
And with the hotel one block from the French Quarter, I doubt Ill see much - but I will take pics - a friend is the Master Chief of the Coast Guard and has the run over a parking lot right on the parade route that always holds the LSU sorority sisters parties/keggers/sleepovers outside - with a few RVs at our disposal to keep stuff cold - and eye candy to keep things hot
Of course if ya get bored watching the Superbowl - you can always watch whats going on where Ill spend most of my time - The Cats Meow balcony - they have a cam called the bead cam that streams live down at the street of "flashers" as well as bunches more cams -
