I saw a similar story years ago on 20/20 or nightline, it's amazing how much $ plp can make doing that. They showed some female dressed in completely fifthly rags work the streets and then take a subway to her parked car (BMW or some shit) and drive home to her house in the suburbs where she took off her “uniform” and cleaned up to pick her kids up from some private school. Of course they would not show her face.
In HS a friend did a report on it and went up to everyone asking to barrow a quarter and at the end he had like $47 in change.
I personally do not do it since I don't know if they make more then me or not, but in Key West we gave $2 - $3 to a bum holding a sign that said "why lie, I want to buy a beer and joint"
