I like the big 16 ounce energy drinks in the diet formulation - Monster or Rockstar will do the trick for me, although diet Rockstar tastes kinda foul. It feels weird to be driving around with a "pounder" in my hand again after having quit drinking alcohol umpteen years ago.
If you have any asian markets where you live you might try looking for the Thai Redbull formulation or the cheaper knock-offs. Comes in a cool looking brown bottle that looks like cough medicine or in short tin cans. It's non-carbonated and super sweet. I once drove from Seattle to Boston in 64 hours with a case of Thai Redbull to supplement some short naps.
