Most experienced freesite builders will always build sites in sub-directories off the domain and use the domain root for a hub, fake TGP or something like that. I see about 5% of surfers coming off LLs to my free sites going to the domain root, probably just to see what's there
Of course, they find a full list of all the free sites on that domain.
Of course, only the free sites submitted to LLs will be held to their rules, though I sometimes check domain roots myself just to make sure there aren't a bunch of exploits.
