Rules, I can't find any sig rules. It seems to be subjective.
When I look around this board and I see a lot of sigs with a button and 3 lines which take up more board space than mine did because the text starts at the top, goes 3 lines down, with a 120x60 underneath.
I just happen to have a custom sig in a table with a bg. It's still a 120x60 with 3 lines, and it's a lot more compact than some that have been running here and will continue to. They just aren't in a table.
Is it tables or borders that aren't allowed? Because it's obviously not 3 lines of text.
And, I wasn't slamming Cozy either. I go there when I need to. It was just a point.
The point was, why would you have more restrictive sig rules than the bad boys when actually you need your post count to grow? I don't mean let people go wild either, but when you mess with my sig, you directly impact my paycheck. This ain't some noobie tagging SWOIT, this is the one and only way I pay all of my bills.
If you impact my income, why would I waste my time working with you? See?
I know you have done well for being here 5 months. I was here on day one, actually, before that. The sig was just fine all that time, with approx 100 or so posts.
Yes, I would have harvested those e-mails and spammed everyone also. But I would have expected (and I HAVE felt ) reprecussions for it to some extent, and I would never have made the impression that since I "have" them, I ought to be allowed to do anything I want with them.
I just chose to overlook it, like a lot of people do. You would be floored if you knew how many of your e-mails I have to go manually clean out which are clogging my auto confirmers. I should post a months worth here some day. That doesn't count the ones that make it to my inbox. Yea, Jim told me to go unsubscribe. Please tell me why I should have to anyway?
