Theproofhouse, you started this thread knowing damn well that us non-religous folks would take pop-shots at the old man.
If there is one thing that I despised about the 'real' world was the policy that one wasn't allowed to discuss religion in the workplace. What that policy meant was that non-believers had to keep their mouths shut while Christians could rattle on and on about what was moral and just. Cocksuckers.
I'm sure the pope was a fine and dandy old dude, but you shouldn't be shocked that a great many of us don't differentiate between him and any other dead old man.
