Sort of. Lucus tends to release his films all over the world at once, but because the time is different in different countries, it gets to be a bit earlier in some places. I love the people who spend a fortune to fly to Britain just to be in the "first showing". A few hours later and it would be showing in their country, but no, they cannot wait and spend thousands of dollars to see about 5 hours sooner.

No really, the movie comes out on tuesday here while in most countries it comes out on wednesday...
Ah well, I probably wait to go see that movie when it's playing for 2 months or so.
