I don't know if it is true for all Daddy's, but for me it was. When I held my first child in my arms for the first time it was overwhelming. The emotions running through my mind, the responsibility, the knowledge that this little person would be looking to me for everything. I tell you, it was spiritual. the happiest moment of my life, the scarriest moment of my life, and the instant I knew I had to grow up.
Lucky I have matured slightly faster than my 14 year old, so I can get away with the old 'Because I said so.' now LOL
