2000 clicks isn't really that many to judge yet. I think the standard rule is 5000 clicks and then evaluate.
Just a comment on the first gallery...those thumbs are really blurry and a little too small. If you do the cropping and editing in photoshop you'll just get a thumb a little more like this:
