When you send hits to the sponsor you did your job. So 2000 hits and no sales is not your problem (unless you lied saying the sponsor had something it did not). But as already said 2000 hits is not that much and hard to judge so your click ratio is low.
Clickthru ratio is low because of the thumbs I think. The gallery does not really make the surfer click to see bigger pictures or turn the surfer on to WANT to see this girl more.
The real issue here is NOT worrying what thehun did for you. Submit the gallery everywhere else and see how many hits you get and sales from those hits. Traffic from various places is the only way to test for sure.
