update I belive that jpgs images could be resized without having to be rescaned and having the 2257 information re recorded mpgs, avi, wmv and other media would have to be rescanned and the 2257 information would have to be re recorded if they were edited or resized.
But an example of how this would work for people that promote if the DOJ wanted them to show the 2257 information they could copy and fax the DOJ's ID to the sponsor who would then give them the url and a login good for say 24 hours then the DOJ could use a computer right there to verify the images or movies by simply inputing the url and they could then print out the documentation for verification or just view it on the computer
