Alex - that was an actual comment from the comments period of this statute as well - a few people suggested it and the DOJ decided against using 3rd party and online services for the recordkeeping by basically stating all you have to do is use your home computer with a seperate directory that houses all the records - dont make things harder than they need to be - secondly the 3rd party could introduce a filter or screening into the process which DOJ is not comfortable with - as well as stating very emphatically the records have to be available at your regular place of business for inspection during your posted working hours.
