It's also a dead easy way to have no ownership of your traffic
Personally the only solution is to buy your own content, keep the books, and just go on as business as usual.
I was thinking that sponsors (who are also content producers...there's a few)...could just offer their "free content" in cheap and reasonable bundles for sale to the affiliates. They have a special license drawn up that you get the content at a drastically reduced rate but can only use it to promote that sponsor. I personally would do this solution if sponsors offered it.
