there are some rather large players in the industry suporting .xxx
as long as the .com owners get first dibs on thier according .xxx domains which is never gonna happen imo... there are sites offering pre-registry for .xxx but they offer no guarantee that you will get the domain you want and have non-refundable fees involved..... check out sex.com and scroll to the bottom of the page, they seem to have the inside track on some rather nice .xxx domains
