One thing I don't trust the government to do is keep a secret.

I'm as compliant as one can be with this ridiculousness, even though it was a total fucking nightmare, and I believe that 2257 as it stands will go down in flames...but then I read about the new DOD pre-draft database, about the Supreme Court handing down a decision that allows a city to throw you out of your house and pay you whatever they feel like paying you so some asshat developer can build a shopping mall, and I wonder about that too. "Economically depressed area" my ass. The whole fucking country is an economically depressed area...except for Beverly Hills, which is doing better than ever....thanks GWB.

At the very least the signal has been clearly sent to the DOJ that the adult industry will not stand together, and that's just bad for business...the FSC has protected their members but didn't go for the throat, and that will reflect on all of us, members or not.

So, I'm considering telling them to convert my "membership dues" to a "contribution" and remove me from the list of members. Anyone else having the same thoughts? Or maybe I'll just bask in what's probably a false sense of security.

Then again, I might just be out here in left field again...
Honestly do you want to be on any government list? No matter how you cut it instead of going for the jugular they worked with the DOJ. Sorry, but if the FSC wasn't involved the ACLU would have been and the ACLU would have made the DOJ their bitches instead of meeting over brunch to hammer out some half-assed deal.
