I know this is a dumb ass newbie question and I feel as stupid as this kid below for having to ask considering I've been doing this full time for four years but I've never gotten into SEs much.
I want to set up a toplist with the main goal of getting my page link on as many domains as possible. I'm told this will help me rank higher on SEs like google. Doing it by hand would be a full time job of it's own so I'm looking at toplist software. However most of them make your trades list your site as something like this.

So it's not your actual main page that is getting listed on other domains. How will the SE spiders reguard this? Do they dump all script urls thereby doing me no good? Or will they rank the base domian as linked (
http://www.thedailydirty.com/) Or will the result be something I haven't even considered.
