We finns also keep shoes in work, but most of us have different pair of shoes to keep in work only.
One thing people here astonish are Americans who wear shoes in home. They lay in couch with shoes on, put their feet on couch table with shoes on, and go to bed with shoes on. At least in soaps and movies. We can't understand that, we don't wear shoes at home. We wear sandals for home use only.
In Thailand people got shoes off when they enter any house, office or home.
