When I type in all the domains that is hotlinking to my things I get a list of about 180 domains and I am redirecting that traffic to another domain of mine.

My problem is that when I put this htaccess file up on the server everything on the server loads slowly. I have talked with the support department at my hosting company and they have told me that it could be the amount of redirecting traffic that causes the slowness in the system. The second I take away the htaccess file it is all good again.

Have anyone another solution for me about this problem? I would like to keep on redirecting the hotlinking traffic |clown|

Thanks!
If you want to stop hotlinking you should use http://www.htaccesstools.com/hotlink-protection/

With this tool you can specify which domains to ALLOW hotlinking from. Its a whitelist approach and is often much better than creating a blacklist.
