I think it's absolutely a political issue. And it will become hugely more so as the repercussions of this event unfold.
People have known NO was a disaster waiting to happen for a long, long time.
But, there will be time enough for the politics of this in the future. Investigations will tell us a great deal.
It's going to be a hellish night for those folks. Hopefully tomorrow the relief trucks will arrive.
