We just finished talking to the owners of the house. Which, on the outside is almost a twin to ours. A beautiful Victorian House. The owners said the woman (tenant) gutted the house and put new wiring in. Tore out the Mahogany woodwork and the place was just nothing but studs and insulation. The tenant told the owners she would be there for months without paying rent because she knew all the tricks in the book. So, the owners called the codes enforcer who took one look at the inside of the house and condemned it
The tenant can only move her things out of there. We, of course, volunteered to keep an eye on it to make sure she isn't living there. Like I said, it's the little things that make me smile.
