I couldn't agree with you more. Living in Toronto with all the cars, traffic and the streets unfortunately designed for 70's traffic makes owing a vehicle a complete waste of time. Thankfully, I don't have to travel too to far to go to work.

And if ever there is a need to go anywhere, public transportation, walking or riding my bike are sufficient enough, especially with the skyrocketing price of gas, insurance, maintenance, parking, tickets, etc. I'm of the opinion that if you need something, have it to use it. Since I don't need a car right now - forget it.
