Jim from what I'm seeing the auto configure option provides hours of endless frustration and hair pulling for users, the WRE54G is best set up manually .

if your notebook has a centrino chipset update your drivers below to reduce wifi dropouts.


For those running Intel 2100/2200BG/2915ABG WiFi cards in their Centrino laptops (which is pretty much anyone), well there are again new drivers out!!

2100: 7.1.4.4
2200BG/2915ABG: 9.0.2.1
