In defense of Chuck, I recently told him to be more stringent on duplicate content because of the enormous amount of submissions we are getting lately. While I'm sure the clips are unique since you cut them up yourself, it's possible and probable that the scene that the content was taken from has been used before by another.
In the past, we allowed the same exact content to be submitted many times as long as different webmasters using different templates were submitting them. But now, in order to be more selective, we have to control how often similar content gets accepted. This definately should usually benefit someone like you because you have an inside route to fresh content, but for others, I'd recommend promoting sponsors or sites that aren't so popular. There are thousands of them. Many that we even promote in our "premium" section.
Writing this gets me fired up to launch our own movie affiliate program soon. You guys will eat this huge program up and will ALWAYS get listed favorably at hoes.com ;-)
