Bill - I feel your pain. We had to have our cat Darcy put to sleep yesterday. We're not sure how old she was, but we got her in 95 & she was 6-8 years old then (so 16-18 years)
Like Luce, she hated going to the vet. She's been sick on & off for 2 years now & yesterday she just looked horrible. So we decided to take her to the vet & let them put her out of her misery.
