Not really UW although I do think a United Ireland would be a cool thing.

The FBI guy (Sidney Poitier) told the IRA guy (Richard Gere) that he knew about the airport locker full of money and fake passport that he had the key to.

So, the film closes with the IRA guy wandering off onto what looks like the streets of Chicago, headed for an airport!?!

I guess some of you will say that it was just a fictional story - but if you watched Farenhieght 9/11 you may remember the bit about how the FBI were denied access to question the Bin Laden family by the White House while the whole family were given safe passage out of the United States.

Interviewing a suspect's immediate family is standard police practice, so why were the FBI held back from doing this? Would it have been unreasonable to ask them a couple of questions? Like "When did you last see Osama?"

Something ain't right.
