The LL/freesite business, both from the LL owner's side and the submitter's side is a 2-way thing. He's not giving the traffic away for free, but in exchange for my content.
I view my relationship with the LLs I submit to as a business relationship. When a potential business partner who has solicited my application expects me to go on an easter egg hunt I can't take him seriously. I don't care how "big" he is.
Ask for a sample, that's what you get. If you want that sample to include a recip, say so and show me where the damn things are. Like I said, I have little time for games.
