So there's no confusion (which it looks like there already is) - this guy lives in Polk county in Fl - the most bible thumping place you'll ever see - he was a former cop there.
The charges are all for obscenity (they include 80 porn pics and 20 videos) that the sherrif deemed obscene - based on community standards - remember this is where the couple that was broadcasting on Ifriends was also arrested a few years back for obscenity.
The sherrif seems to have a problem with the girlfriend/wives self posts - he did allow members to do self posting and has (according to the sherrif anyway) nothing to do with the soldiers trade pics.
This guy brought an awful lot of attention to himself a few weeks ago on CNN and the people of his county were not happy with the exposure.
Things to keep in mind that may have blinded his judgement - his sites are all hosted on a server in Europe - and he tried to play that card already - but the sherrif already said - sorry - he controls the content from his house - doesnt fly as an excuse.
