Mr Stiff - thats not surprising - Google has hundreds (if not thousands) of datacenters all over the world - and they usually update rather slow especially in the middle of the testing phase theyve been going through for the last few weeks. Remember that you will be given results based on your location as well (geo tracking) so if you want to really watch results for your sites change you could always surf on a proxy located elsewhere
and check the datacenters by IP number instead of just using google dot com (an example - 66.102.7.147)
