If you're trying to be scientific about this stuff, you need to focus on benefits which accrue to you. Some link lists will send a whole lot of "NEW" traffic - which might well convert like shit - while others will send a lesser but steady stream of category-specific traffic.

Ask around and find out which link lists best suit your niche!
