The US has Alaska and noone likes that. You surely won't like the mid west where it sometimes starts snowing in major cities like Edmonton in October.
I for one would enjoy the tax structure of the US on disposible income items. Things we spend money on all the time like booze, gas, utilities taxed lower, all retail purchases, ect.
