No, that is not the problem. You ask a lot of questions.
You are an older man. Do you have children? Think about what they were like when they were young. "Daddy, can I have this? Daddy, can I do this? Daddy, can I have that?"
When one person asks a lot questions, the potential for all of those questions to be answered is small. Don't ask a question about every change you make, especially if you see other free site builders doing the same type of thing. Just do it. Build your sites and submit them.
As far as your recip table goes - it looks fine. Some people, when making custom recip tables, make them very small - and that's annoying to the ll owners. Your recips retain a fair size. Make sure you use any title="" tags if the original recip used it and attempt to use whatever text the orginal recip had.
By the way, a recip is our abbreviation for reciprocal link.
A recipe is a set of instructions to cook something. Everyone makes that mistake (except for me).
