I installed Active Webcam recently for a friend of mine who does some cam work to replace the garbage she got with her cam... cost her about $29 online and allows 30FPS streaming and loads of other facilities. RealPlayer does some good streaming software for free if you need multi-user but you must be a bit of a techie to set it up properly and it eats processor time (Am assuming you are on PC and not Mac).
