It sounds like you've already recognized that there are some dangers to linking to sites like those.

You'll hear different suggestions - ultimately, you have to make your own choices.

Personally, I would approach such a situation with a bit of caution.

Then, I'd pick the new domain names with the greatest relevance to my original sites, selecting, say, 5 or 10, and link those to my index in the "usual" ways.

Then, I'd pick some number more, not too many, and link to them from inner pages.

I'd try to make the links as 'chaotic' as possible, varying between recips and oneways, varying positions on pages, varying the anchor text.

Then, after a few weeks, adding a few more links, emphazing inner page linking. Continue as needed.

I would definitely avoid too many links at once, and avoid easily detected patterns.

There could be good reason not to do much index to index linking with a set of new domains that sound pretty spammy.

But, others might have other opinions. You'll have to make your own decisions.
