I'm using
Paintshop Pro, the software for the budget concious Photoshop person, and ThumbsPlus.
Several reasons for using Paintshop:
· not so resource hungry
· it doesn't take like 5 minutes to load
· I know my way around it...
· it does almost everything Photoshop does for 15% of the cost
· all Photshop filters work with it!
...with a little knowledge and hard work you get some impressive results (as you can see with the header of my
new site !)
I'm actually using two versions of Paintshop: #7 for most page graphics, and #5 for simple work and screen captures; #5 is opened almost all day because I tend to replace some submitted thumbs for my tgp site) and I hardly ever notice it (as far as resources go).
