Hey DD,

Naw, waste of time hits the nail right on the head. Thats the crux of the problem. I dont know what a "hub" really is.

I always hear webmasters, (in IRC) say "Build a hub, and fill it with your sites". But i have done some research and the "hub" issue is still unresolved.

Cleo, I see your point. But is a "hub" just a 1 page wonder with links to some freesites mixed in with some sponsor links?

The last time i tried to build a "hub" i filled it with all my freesites and some sponsor links, then that kind of turned into a linklist, of sorts. Then I thought, what the hell, i have a linklist here, I might as well start taking submissions. Up to this point i was just using a java form for submissions and manually admin. the list. Now the site has become a script driven list with a pr4 and according to my server stats, has some decent se traffic.

I'm just curious as to what the veteran linklist owners/webmasters would define a "hub" as being.

I may be just confusing the whole issue, but i think my questions have some validity. Im just a curious kinda guy.

Thanks for putting up the this long-winded reply. But these are questions ive always had but was never able to fully articulate what i was thinking.

I look forward to the replies.
