adultmix, I think you also have to look at blogging as a way to assemble surfers and add to your network of sites and attractions. The blog itself might not make $500 a month, but it might give off enough traffic to other sites and projects you are working on to give a net $500 improvement in your bottom line.
Only blogging for cash in my mind would be like selling ice cream but not having any cones or bowls to put it in.
