They have to do something with Rivers, since they are paying him so much money. I agree it sucks - we have a similar situation here in Buffalo with Losman & Holcomb. Losman is getting a lot of money to learn how to be an NFL QB & Holcomb gives us the best chance of winning.
Warner, on the other hand, did have one hell of a year as far as stats (when he wasn't injured) but I think that their WR's have proved that you could be QB & throw for 300 yards on a regular basis
