When I played Intramural Basketball we had a bad snow storm but they didn’t cancel the games, and most of our team was from the country so we only had 4 show up and had 3 games to play, we got smoked the first 2 games and won the last game vs the previously unbeaten #1 ranked team who was also the only team out of 12 that had everyone there.
It was a real low scoring game, I think 21-18 or some crap, I am far from the best shooter but that night none of us was missing. The one thing I will always remember was the look of their faces when the buzzer sounded, all of them were very good players and had all played on teams one went on to play in the NCAA.
