USeful scripts is designed for managing submissions and so forth and from what I understand it's tops. If you're looking at just managing your own links and links from a few trusted folks then Gossamer might be a great way to go. It's pretty flexible.
After spending about 2 weeks with TDs script I finally tossed it out and had Gossamer installed, configurred and running smoothly in day.
I would highly recommend Richard's or Gossamer.
