Fonz, Alexa has apparently made some major changes in their infrastructure, and so the data has been all over the road. They have had days of little or no data, followed by days of huge peaks and so on.
Alexa's biggest problem is that their survey size isn't very big. At the bottom end, I have a feeling that just adding the Alexa toolbar onto your browser and visiting your sites daily would be enough to push you into the top 250,000 without a blink. I get a big laugh when the traffic for a site I have stays steady but Alexa reports it going up and down like a whore's drawers.
Don't take the data as anything important.
