Good Morning All! Another fun filled day of carpentry work. Got the desk put together yesterday, counter sunk all the screw holes and filled them with putty last night, now it is sand down and paint everything. After a few coats, we get to install the sucker whoo hoo.
I got to learn the joys of having to cut wood exactly the right length with mitre cuts at both ends for the trim. We were not sure we could do it, but we managed to do it just fine. It is amazing with the right tools what you can accomplish.
I love to do stuff like this, have done a lot of carpentry and wood working on and off my whole life, but always rough cut, not finish work like this is, so it has been an enjoyable challenge. But, I'm REALLY looking forward to getting it done and set up today.
And with daylight savings time, I'm already an hour behind getting started, so better get my butt in gear, lol.
